About
I am a third-year student at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where I also teach beginners' and intermediate "Uzbek for social scientists" courses. I recieved my BA in International and Comparative Politics from the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and an M Litt in Middle East and Central Asian Security Studies from the University of St Andrews. My main research interests are the state formation and sovereignties in post-Soviet Central Asia, especially in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
