Thesis Title: The Role of the Doctrine of the Trinity in the Theology of Stanley J. Grenz

Stephen R. Holmes

About

A fourth generation Californian, having finished research for a PhD in theology at the University of St Andrews on the role of the doctrine of the Trinity in Stanley Grenz's writings, I am presently Theologian in Residence at Oak Hill College, London.

I'm writing a book on evangelicals and the Trinity to be published by InterVarsity Press; with Derek Tidball & Brian Harris, I am co-editing a book on contemporary theology; and am working on a number of other projects. I am also working with Fred Sanders, Sarah Sumner, Rebecca Kim, Rick Pointer and a host of others on a multi-year interdisciplinary project called the Theological Engagement with California's Culture (TECC) Project (www.teccproject.com).

I  serve as book reviews editor for the "Mission & Culture" section of Themelios, and have published articles in Scottish Bulletin of Evangelical Theology, Pacific Journal of Baptist Research, Journal of Theological Interpretation, Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, Master's Seminary Journal, Southwestern Journal of Theology, and American Theological Inquiry.

I am interested in trinitarian theology, contemporary evangelical theology, and theology's engagement with culture.
