My research is broadly concerned with the intellectual and cultural history of Germany from the Enlightenment to the Weimar Republic.
I'm currently working on a book that aims to situate Herder's thought within the intellectual currents of his time and on a study of the philosophical impact of Darwinism in the nineteenth century.
